Assane Seck is the founder of Africa Dobo an international drum and dance collective. Seck is a master drummer, master dancer and drum maker and teacher. He hails from the capital city of Dakar in Senegal, West Africa. Dobo means unity, and Seck began his career setting to share his love of drum and dance with the world as a performer and teacher. The group performs globally and is based out of Senegal with permanent residency at Africa House Cultural Art Center in Cleveland.
