Beachwood Branch

Beachwood Meeting Room (Auditorium) (84)

Debbie Darling presents her series of musical talks that are both entertaining and informative.

Patsy Cline was one of the most iconic figures in country music. This musical talk dives into her life and legacy. Despite her life being tragically cut short, her influence on music, particularly country music, endures to this day. We’ll explore her childhood, rise to fame, struggles, and lasting legacy, covering the highs and the lows of her journey. We will see how a girl from small-town Virginia became one of the most revered voices in music history.

With live piano accompaniment.

About the branch

The Beachwood Branch first opened to the public on October 31, 1982. At the time, it was the first branch in the CCPL system to have an automated circulation system. Located just a few hundred yards from the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage, the branch offers a drive-up window where customers can pick up requested materials, dedicated spaces for kids and teens, and a beautiful outdoor reading garden.
