South Euclid-Lyndhurst Branch

Writers Center Conference Room (65)

Bring 15 copies of your one-page poem for feedback.

Drop in at this diverse group of serious, friendly poets ranging from young adults to poets with decades of experience.

If you would like your one-page poem workshopped during the workshop, please bring 15 copies of it and arrive by 6:40 p.m. If you arrive later, we cannot guarantee a full workshop treatment of your poem. You are welcome to attend without having a poem workshopped, too.

Led by Raja Belle Freeman, a performance poet and visual artist from South Euclid, who is a teaching artist for Lake Erie Ink and a board member of One South Euclid. She assisted Ray McNiece with his yearlong project, "Poem for Cleveland," funded by the American Academy of Poetry and the Mellon Foundation. She has also taught for Twelve Literary Arts and graduated from Cleveland State University with a bachelor's degree in Creative Writing and a minor in Black Studies.
