The Friends of the Mayfield Branch Library board invite all to attend their monthly meeting. Please note that the June 24th meeting will be delayed until 7:45 p.m.

For over 50 years the Friends of the Mayfield Branch Library has existed to support the highest quality library service to their local communities, facilitating used book sales with all proceeds supporting lifelong learning programs for all ages, and providing funding for various facility aspects of the library that are beyond the tax-funded library budget.

How can you help?

  • Become a Friends member.  By being a Friend, you don’t just use the library, you are an important and impactful part of it! Your contribution ensures your library remains an essential part of the community.  Membership brochures available at the Mayfield and Richmond Hts branches.

  • If you are a current Friend, we thank you and value your continued membership. Renew today!

  • Volunteer opportunities are available and encouraged!

    • Assist with book sales.

    • Advocate for and promote the Friends and the Library in the community.

    • Do you have a financial, technical, artistic, organizational, or other skill where you shine?  Consider becoming a Friends of the Library Board member.

  • Attend a board meeting to learn more!  The Friends meet on the 4th Monday of the month at 7 p.m. except for the months of May, August and December.

About the branch

The branch’s children’s area features oversized artwork from the book In the Small, Small Pond by Denise Fleming. Interactive stations encourage children to explore the wonders of the natural world.
